Sourdough Starter with Free Shipping in NZ

If you are hunting for sourdough starter free shipping NZ wide, without a minimum spend or a surprise fee at checkout, you have found it. Squirrelly Girl ships our dehydrated starter to every New Zealand address for free — no threshold to hit, no extra charge for rural delivery, just one clear price.

That matters because a lot of kits only unlock free shipping once you spend a certain amount, or add extra for offshore and rural addresses. We keep it simple: order the starter on its own and shipping is still covered. It arrives shelf-stable, ready to store in the pantry until you are ready to bake.

Why Kiwi bakers pick Squirrelly Girl

• Free shipping across New Zealand on every order, with no minimum spend 📦
• Dehydrated and shelf-stable — travels well and wakes up in just a few days
• 100% activation guarantee — if it does not activate, we make it right ✅
• Clear step-by-step instructions plus access to our Sourdough Academy 📚

Our culture comes from our Canadian micro-bakery in Princeton, BC, where we bake with it ourselves. It has a balanced flavour that works beautifully for crusty loaves, soft sandwich bread, pizza bases and wholemeal bakes — a proper all-rounder for your kitchen, not a fussy favourite that only suits one recipe.

Common questions about free shipping

Is shipping really free if I only order one starter?

Yes. There is no minimum order for free shipping in NZ. One starter, shipped free — that is the whole deal, with nothing added at checkout for delivery.

Do you ship to rural and regional NZ addresses?

Yes, we ship across New Zealand, including rural and regional addresses. Because the starter is dehydrated, it is light, compact and happy to travel without refrigeration.

How soon can I bake after it arrives?

Most bakers see strong activity within a few days of following the activation steps. You will get full instructions with your order, and our guarantee covers you if it does not wake up as it should.
