Can a sourdough starter really make a proper batch loaf?

Yes — a batch loaf is simply a tin loaf, and sourdough is brilliant in a tin. The shape comes from the tin, the flavour comes from the ferment, and the soft crumb comes from the long rise.

How long before I can bake with it?

Once your flakes are rehydrated and feeding, most bakers are baking within days. The included instructions walk you through every feed, so there is no guesswork.

Does it ship free to Ireland?

Yes — every order ships free to any Irish address, and every starter is covered by our activation guarantee.
