Sound familiar?

📝 You've got sticky notes on the fridge that say things like "feed?? 8pm??" and you wrote them three days ago.

⏰ You've set five phone alarms named "FOLD???" and still missed the window.

🌙 You've stood in your kitchen at midnight whispering "is it supposed to look like this" to a bowl of dough.

Here's the truth nobody tells beginners: sourdough isn't hard. The timing is hard. Every recipe assumes you have no job, no kids, and no life. These schedules assume you do.

What's inside the pack

8 printables. One page each. Stick 'em on the fridge.

Peek inside: The Weekend Loaf

This is the actual format. Every schedule looks like this.

📅 The Weekend Loaf

Friday → Sunday  •  feed Friday night, bake Sunday morning

Fri 8:00 pmFeed your starter (keep 25g, add 50g flour + 50g water). Leave on the counter overnight.
Sat 8:00 amStarter doubled & bubbly? Mix your dough: 500g flour, 350g water, 100g ripe starter. Rest 1 hour.
Sat 9:00 amAdd 10g salt. First set of stretch & folds.
Sat 9:30–12:00Stretch & fold every 30 min (4–5 sets). Let it bulk ferment — look for ~50% rise and bubbles.
Sat 2:00 pmShape it tight, plop into a floured banneton, and into the fridge it goes.
Sun 8:00 amStraight from fridge → score → bake at 450°F: 20 min lid on, 20 min lid off.
Sun 9:00 amCool at least 1 hour. Try to wait. (You won't. We know.) 🍞

Quick answers

I'm a total beginner. Will this make sense?

That's exactly who it's for. Every step is written in plain language — no assumed knowledge, no "you should just know." If you can read a clock, you can follow these.

Do I need a fancy printer?

Nope. Any home printer works, black & white is fine. Or send the PDF to any print shop.

What format is it?

A 9-page PDF, laid out for both US Letter and A4 paper.

Will this work with my starter?

Yes — the schedules work with any mature, active sourdough starter, including (obviously) ours. 🐿️
