God, Grain, and the Gift of Baking: Why Every Loaf Begins with the Creator

God, Grain, and the Gift of Baking: Why Every Loaf Begins with the Creator

From the very beginning, God gave mankind the ability to learn, create, and cultivate the world around us. Every useful skill—from building homes to growing food, from music to medicine, and yes... even baking—is a gift made possible through the minds and abilities He gave us.

Every loaf of bread tells a story. Grain that grows from the earth, water, salt, time, and the remarkable process of fermentation all reflect the incredible order and design found in creation.

When we mix flour and water into a sourdough starter, we're not inventing something new—we're discovering and working with the natural processes God placed in His creation all along.

So the next time you pull a golden loaf from the oven, take a moment to appreciate not just the bread, but the Creator who gave us the curiosity to learn, the hands to bake, and the wisdom to share it with others.

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight." — Proverbs 9:10

Happy baking, and may every loaf remind us of God's goodness. ❤️🍞
